I read Dr Gundry’s The Plant Paradox and recommended it to a relative of mine, but later wrote to her to ask her to ignore it as other dietary professionals had said that legumes are a healthy source of food, and their lectins can even benefit our health. However, it is easy to be mislead when the author/s of food and nutrition books are MDs, and their readers are interested, enthusiastic, gullible, and not truly knowledgeable about the science.

Wow. That is really too bad. Dr. Hall was one of the most consistent skeptics I've read, having read her in Skeptic mag, on her blog and at SBM (before the threw her in the ditch). She was kind in her writing while still being clear and uncompromising. I (almost) grew up reading her in the 90s.
